Swiss is a Ableton instrument plugin developed using Max For Live and can be used for multiple purposes. Its a great little plugin to use for your music productions, sound designs and also to enhance on your audio recordings.
The Swiss features two oscillators with three different types of sound waves. Each oscillator has an ADSR control, a Frequency Modulation control and also their very own reverb unit. There is also a Delay with feedback control and a Low and High pass filter. Another added feature to the Swiss is a White Noise generator which has its own ADSR control and also a Low and High pass filter. You are also able to see the waveforms begin produced on the Swiss with its very own scope.
Below is a tutorial video which explains different ways on using the Swiss and also some sound bits of the Swiss being used in different facets. Added to the download is a little survey for you to fill out to see what sort of improvements and added features you would like to see on Swiss. What a little beast, had fun playing with the delay and getting some nice squelchy glitch sounds. Once you start adding effects on top of swiss itself, it becomes a beast, both with bass, and high end sounds. Pretty unique, simple synth. definitely had a lot of fun having a play.

Pretty fun to play with, straightforward layout. The reverb on the saw and square wave adds some really nice harmonic noise when you roll it passed around 50%. The noise feature was also pretty sweet and I really liked the wavetable/oscilloscope to see what was happening to the waveform as it was being tweaked, the only suggestion I’d have is maybe a distortion unit built within it as well, that being said, it’s not necessary as there are countless other distortion effects and plugins you can apply as you like.

Josh comments: the default setting when you open it should be set to making a sound (not to “off”). It would be nice if you could change the pitch of the modulating FM osc for osc2 so you can create FM sounds that are different to the FM sounds you can create in osc1.
Also it would be nice to adjust the basic pitch of o/c 2 so it can be detuned from osc1 or create intervals with osc1. Would also be nice to have a dry/wet control on the delay unit, similar to the reverb. It’s unusual for the noise generator to have it’s own envelope but it’s actually pretty cool to be able to have the noise on its own timing envelope.

Really cool little plugin with a simple and easy to use interface but a deceptively large amount of power under the hood. In a quick test I was able to get melodic and musical sounds through to more creative sounds suitable to sound design purposes. Transformers-esque sounds were in abundance.
Another fantastic feature is the live wave graphic to the right of the synth, which provides an unanticipated level of satisfaction when crafting tones with this Synth.
The feedback feature is also quite sensitive and allows the user to dial in more aggressive style sounds.
Perhaps my favourite parts of the Synth were the smoothness of the attack which allowed for a much nicer experience when playing chords than i have previously had with synths.
Overall a great plugin that needs to be experienced t be fully appreciated.
